Born2holiday respects the privacy of its Clients and believes that each of its Client who books or looks for any services offered by Born2holiday or in this website www.born2holiday.com (the site), has the right to be informed about the privacy policy that is followed by Born2holiday.
The idea of this policy is to educate the ‘Users’ as to what personal information is being captured by us and where the same is being used. It describes the principles and practices that apply to ‘Personal Information’ collected from Users of our services on our Site, in telephone or e-mail communications.
It should be further noted that Born2holiday will not (i) collect Personal Information of the Users without their knowledge and permission; (ii) knowingly disclose the Personal Information of any User to third parties, except as provided herein. Born2holiday endeavours to take reasonable steps to protect the security of the Personal Information collected from its Users.
Born2holiday logs the IP address of the Users in order to maintain the server, administer the Web site and track usage statistics.
The IP address of any User may vary each time they visit the site, or it may be the same, depending on whether such User access the site through an always-on type of Internet connection (e.g., cable modem or DSL), or through a dial-up connection (e.g., VSNL, MTNL etc). Either way, it would be extremely difficult for Born2holiday to identify the Users through their IP address, and Born2holiday never makes any attempt to do so.
If any User reached our site by clicking on a link or advertisement on another site, then Born2holiday also log that information. This helps Born2holiday to maximize their Internet exposure, and to understand the interests of its Users. All of this information is collected and used only in the aggregate; that is, it is entered into the database maintained by Born2holiday, where Born2holiday can use the same to generate overall reports on the site visitors, but not reports about individual visitors.
Born2holiday also places a small file known as a "cookie" on its Users’ computer's hard drive. A cookie may contain information that allows Born2holiday to track the Users’ path through the Web site and to determine whether the User has visited the site before. Sharing this information allows Born2holiday to better understand the ways in which its various product and service offerings can assist travellers. It also enables Born2holiday to provide its Users with information about travel opportunities in which he/she might be interested. The subsidiaries, group and sister companies of Born2holiday also will comply with applicable laws governing the transmission of promotional communications, and give each User an opportunity in any such email that they send to choose not to receive such promotional e-mail messages in the future.
Users also may share their personal information with third-parties specifically engaged by Born2holiday to provide services (such as Airlines, Hotels, Ground Handlers, Insurance Companies, Product Companies and advertising agencies), in which case Born2holiday will require those parties to agree to use any such personally-identifiable data solely for the purpose of providing the specified services through Born2holiday. Born2holiday may also use the information to provide to government agencies like RBI, Banks etc. as per the laws of the country. Users must appreciate that Born2holiday must cooperate with legal authorities, and may in some circumstances be required to disclose personally identifiable information in response to requests from law enforcement authorities, or in response to a subpoena or other legal process. Born2holiday doesn't expect this to happen, but if it does, Born2holiday will provide only the information required. Steps taken to protect the personal information
Born2holiday has implemented security procedures to help protect the personal information stored in the systems/site. Born2holiday also employ processes (such as password hashing, login auditing, and idle session termination) to protect against unauthorized access to the personal information.
Minors (as defined under the laws of their jurisdiction or residence) are not eligible to register for, use, or Purchase the Products or Services available on the Site. Born2holiday does not knowingly collect Personal Information from any Minor, and will not use this information if it is discovered that it has been provided by a Minor.
Retention and storage
Born2holiday will retain the Personal Information in its databases in accordance with document management, retention and destruction policy and applicable laws. This period may extend beyond the end of relationship with the User, but it will be only as long as it is necessary for Born2holiday to have sufficient information to respond to any issues that may arise later. For example, Born2holiday may need or be required to retain information to allow any User to obtain future credit against the trip purchased but cancelled subsequently. Born2holiday may also needs to retain certain information to prevent fraudulent activity; to protect Born2holiday against liability and permit Born2holiday to pursue available remedies or limit any damages that Born2holiday may sustain; or if Born2holiday believes in good faith that a law, regulation, rule or guideline requires it. The Personal Information will be stored in secured locations, and on servers controlled by Born2holiday.
Third Party Advertisers
Third parties advertise on the Site. However, Born2holiday do not share any Personal Information about the Users with these advertisers unless permitted by the Users to do so, which is separate from any permission provided during the Member registration process. These advertisers may seek to use cookies and pixel tags to track Session Data about the ads each User has seen and types of things in which the User appears interested. These advertisers may also use combined information about the visits of the Users to the Site and other sites in order to provide advertisements about related goods and services that may be of interest to the respective User.
When Users click on one of these advertisers' links, the Users would be leaving the Site and entering another site. Born2holiday shall not responsible for such third party's sites. Born2holiday cautions each User to carefully review the privacy statements of any other site he.she may visit, because those privacy statements will apply to the Users while visiting that site, and may be very different from this policy.
Opting-Out
As part of the registration process, Born2holiday gives its Users the ability to receive via e-mail or direct messaging information about the Products and Services, updates to the Site, customized advertisements and promotions that are targeted to specific interest, such as flight specials, promotions, contests, sweepstakes and other travel opportunities available on the Site and/or sponsored by the travel service providers and advertisers. Born2holiday sends this information directly, or via third party service providers. If any User do not opt-out from receiving these communications about the Site, Born2holiday will send them to the Users.For the sake of convenience, the Site provides links to other sites. When a User clicks on one of these links, he/she are leaving our Site and entering another site. Born2holiday shall not be responsible for such third party sites as such sites are not under the control of Born2holiday. Users should carefully review the privacy statements of any other sites they visit, because those privacy statements will apply to the Users’ visit to such other sites. Access to any other Internet sites linked to the Site is at the user's own risk. Born2holiday does not in anyway vouch or endorse the genuineness or the quality of the contents of such websites. It should not be construed that Born2holiday has any association with the operators or owners of such third party websites.
Changes to this Privacy Policy
Born2holiday reserves the right to change this policy should Born2holiday deems it advisable to do so. If Born2holiday makes any material changes that will affect personal information it has already collected from the Users, Born2holiday will make reasonable efforts to notify the respective User of the changes and to give him/her the opportunity to amend or cancel his/her registration.
